Creative Problem Solving
Schedule a
customized group session to tackle your toughest problems as an
organization and move forward with confidence.
How does
your organization its problems under mounting pressure, tight
deadlines, and changing conditions?
Do your people work together as effectively as you'd like? Do you
collaborate to develop robust strategies that deliver positive
solutions and help you move forward?
Teams and organizations often spend weeks, even years locked into
intransigent problems, masking over them and muddling thru until it
becomes impossible to ignore.
Improvement projects that take weeks and valuable resources often leave
people disappointed and jaded. But it doesn't have to be that way.
In one to three days (depending on the problems you want to tackle) you
can move your organization forward in an action plan with both
immediate results and long-term significant change.
Change is inevitable -- why not choose the changes you want and build a
better future?
What to Expect
Creative Problem Solving starts with a
conversation. Before any event, we talk with you about your needs, your
expectations, your challenges. We then reach agreement on the framework
of an agenda, the time frames, and your level of commitment. You'll
carefully determine any constraints, begin to define the core problem,
and develop a list of people to attend a Creative Problem Solving
Session.
Then, at the location of your choice (usually a meeting room large
enough for the number of participants is sufficient) your event is
facilitated by one of our highly trained and experienced consultants.
Activities, dialogues, creative exercises, and process improvement
tools are combined in a design best suited for your situation. Using a
blend of the best business and creativity tools your group will be
energized, focused, and ready to creatively solve problems now -- and
as part of your developing future.
Who Should
Attend
Members of your organization who are directly, and indirectly involved
in or impacted by your current challenges. This usually includes a
cross-functional set of front line experts, leaders, and customer
contact people. The group must also include decision makers who can, by
the end of the session, make immediate decisions for change on items as
diverse as reports, processes, action steps, and use of time.
What You Will
Cover
You’ll be able to:
- Analyze your current
challenges and prioritize your highest potential impact areas for
improvement
- Describe and map the process
or processes involved
- Identify the benefits of
solving your problem and costs of delaying needed change
- Create innovative and
practicle solutions to your challenges
- Prioritize and select your
most viable and robust solutions
- Engage key constituents in
development and implementation of process, communication, and cultural
changes
- Reach agreement on an action
plan that details responsibilities, actions, and timeframes
- Drive forward with both
immediate positive impact and long-term change
How you get there will depend on
your organization and challenges -- but you will get there.
Your Benefits
for Attending
You’ll walk away with:
- More cohesive and effective
project and process teams
- A practiced set of tools you
can reuse again and again as new challenges emerge
- Improved relationships and
communication
- Creative solutions to your
most pressing problems
Your Cost
Depends on the scope of
your challenge. The initial consultation is only $200 and the planning,
coaching, follow-up and consulting is all included in your event cost
of $2,000 per day. Events are one, two or three days depending on your
needs. You are also responsibe for the event space (large conference
room or similar) and travel expenses for the facilitator if your event
occurs more than 50 miles from Denver, CO.
